Search for a Trend: Side Belts/Straps

February 13, 2006 by Designer Ella

Ella\'s Design Sketch Side Strap Belt BagI have been on an endless-seeming hunt for a bag with a new trend I love. I’ve seen many side strap/side belted bags at malls and around, but I can’t find a great one that suits me. Sure, the ones at the malls draw my attention, but I can’t find those in stores!

I want leather, I don’t want it to be too large, I don’t want oversized hardware. And I also want a sense of fabulousness, an expensive look. I want something I will love. Is that too much to ask?

I have my criteria, I have Mallory, I have eBay’s ever-changing selection. I have good leads. I’ll keep you posted when I have it in my hands.

If that doesn’t happen soon. You know me—utter, crazy, mania will ensue.

Wow. Thanks. Pause for now, perhaps. I might have found a great one on eBay. I’ll keep you updated.

[…] Plus, check out that price—$139! That’s a really great price for a leather purse with this much style. It features the popular side straps that Ella has been dreaming about, but at 14.5″ l x 7″ h x 4.5″ d, I think it’s a bit wider than what she’s looking for. It also has a beautiful mix of colors with light tan trimmed with a yummy dark brown and highlighted with goldtone hardware. Staying true to its name, it also features hammered stud details that help give the purse a bit of vintage style. […]
