Rafé New York Astor Gina Magazine Tote

March 15, 2006 by Mallory Road

Sometimes, you look at a purse and you immediately know its purpose. When I spotted this Magazine Tote by Rafé New York, it pleaded with me to buy it and carry it to work. I really do need a new purse for work, especially in this combo of Italian linen and pretty peach textured Italian leather trim.

Zappos.com Handbags! At 17.5″ l x 15″ h x 4″ d, it’s plenty large enough to carry everything I need, even a magazine or two, which is a plus because I always love having a magazine with me—it’s appropriately named, isn’t it? It has two convenient front pockets, allowing you easy access to things you may need in a hurry, like your keys. At a price that’s out of my range ($528.95), it’s available in three different colors (flax, olive and natural) and they all give a different look—something for everyone.

You definitely need to get this! I have the magazine tote from the Recoleta line and I love it. It is huge, but it hangs well on your body. I’ve been using this bag non-stop for the past two months and it’s perfect.

It’s funny, I would call this a hobo.

I know—I do definitely need this bag! :) Unfortunately, that silly price tag gets in my way. Why do I always have to like bags that are completely out of my price range?

Rafe always goes on sale. Check out Nordstroms.com or Rafe.com at the end of the season and I bet you can it for about 50% off.

Thanks-I’ll have to check that out!
