Shopbop.com is one of my favorite web sites to visit and while I was looking at the Goldenbleu Jordan Travel Bag, I also stumbled upon the Luba J Porcupine Bag. Measuring 14″ l x 5″ h x 11″ d and selling for $828, it’s a purse bursting with unique details, including metal studs that poke out along the sides and bottom, much like a porcupine’s quills, hence the name. It is also conveniently designed with two separate compartments, each with its own croc-embossed top flap. I like the look of the braided handle, but am a bit curious as to how comfortable it feels on the shoulder. Of course, if someone wants to send me a sample purse to try, I’m more than willing!

I have no opinion about the porcupine bag, but the Tagalong bag finally arrived and it is marvelous and understated and perfect. Thanks again for your advice.
Heh. Now that I am reformed from my fanny-packing ways I’m gonna have to give into the siren song of the fitted jacket with the nipped-in waist.

That bag is so interesting!
Give in, my dear, to the fitted blazer! SO flattering! (Or is it a jacket/coat? Either way, fabulous!)
