With almost everyone leading extremely busy lives,—sometimes, it seems a bit too busy—we all need a handbag that’s versatile and can literally transform from a carry-all to a chic mini bag. Of course, we as handbag lovers know that to cover the different aspects of life, you just buy new purses, but sometimes we’re running from here to there to down the block to up the street and a little bit all over in the span of one day with no time to switch bags.
Designer Liz Mole has created a line of handbags that literally are two bags in one. They’re called Detachables. Available in several different styles, they consist of one large bag with a mini bag that can be removed and carried by itself. You fill the large purse with all the daily essentials and the small purse with the absolute necessities that you might carry to dinner. This way you’re ready to go out with friends after work without having to lug around a big handbag!
My favorite style is the Rivet_It. It’s a medium-size bag (14.5″ l x 8.5″ h x 4.5″ d) with pearlized leather details and leather tassels. It sells for $349.
If you happen to like Liz’s style, but don’t care for the detachable idea, check out some of her other handbags, such as the adorable Squash_It, a pumpkin-shaped bag.

That is the most creative idea and fabulous find!
That might be going on a lot of people’s “need” lists!
And it seems we have the same taste in bags — that Squash_It is quite attractive!

I like style and design.. You have plenty here and it is fun to see these design ideas.
This site would be in fitting company with high style NYC ladies shoes.
You may be aware of Manolo’s shoe blog. Some brilliant styles and friendly chat too.
Entertaining in many ways. TonyGuitar

Wow, I think I just fell in love…that is absolute genius! I’ve been trying to pull off the tote + small handbag thing for so long that sometimes I have to hide a small clutch or minibag inside my tote. It’s quite annoying, but Liz Mole clearly has the right idea with her new bags.

I like to carry a wristlet inside my school tote. I can put in things I can’t keep in a wallet, like lip balm and personal girly items. I actually love it.
