Coach has actually made an accessory line printed with a red/pink fragrance theme in celebration of their new perfume. They’ve also made up a limited edition compilation of the LE Jasmine XL Straw “Basket” bag filled with pieces from the line, plus a pair of shades and the exclusive to the “gift basket”, bronzer compact (which I think is a pretty awesome little beauty case).

The main feature of this LE gift set is the Jasmine XL Straw Basket ($998 separately, limited on its own as well) which features a rounded body of straw, orange leather and snake skin trim, brass hardware with ringed full-height straps and fragrance-print lining with 5 interior pockets. It’s sized 24″ x 13.5″ x 10.5″!
The official list of items included is: Fragrance-print crusher hat, beach towel, Framed coin purse, Patti sunglasses, and an exclusive Bronzer Set in the Fragrance Print Case.

The cost of the package is $1600 (eek) too steep for me even though I’d love to own this, but instead I can pick up a little piece of the “fragrance” line separately. My choice is the unique “Brush case” which can be used as a beauty case or even a clutch! Love it. If you can’t get the package, which is in limited quantities, perhaps look on eBay for that exclusive bronzer, as I will. (No low price guarantee, though.)

I was on the hunt for a camera case for … oh probably years. Especially with my camera turning on and wasting battery if I take it anywhere with the batt left in. Ugh. Just recently, I also decided I needed a new digital camera, a small one with a “macro” setting. Now not only does my new camera do away with my cam problems, is on beat with modern technology & fun other settings in addition to macro, and it comes in pink(!) but it doesn’t even turn on randomly due to its optical lens features.

Still, when I found the cam, things just *clicked* into place and I found the perfect little case! It’s pink as well, is small enough to secure the camera, but with extra room to fit small accessories, in genuine leather and its darn cute to bag! Clearly meant for a camera, with padded sides to protect your gadget and a multi-colored dangling fob including a camera charm, it could even be a small clutch with its fashionable look and wristlet strap. The buckle + charms combo remind me of COACH meets Luella. Love it!

Following our Holiday Gift Week series, I still have at least one gift to write about.

One source of an assortment of fashionable gifts for women is Dooney & Bourke, and their various accessories. Dooney & Bourke wristlets are cute for girls, especially the more colorful ones. For adults, they have nice - more sophisticated - accessories and bags, too. Like Coach, Dooney is a more affordable luxury brand.

Their Flap Wristlets, like this Doodle Wristlet shown, cost $45. That’s a great price considering some other pricetags these days. And teenagers often only need a wristlet as an entire bag, so depending on what you pick for whom, a D&B gift is a great one.

With a bit of a rugged vintage look, the Sandhurst Wristlet by Banana Republic is calling my name as a possible bag for fall. It has a simple, classic silhouette, it’s made from creamy 100% Italian leather and it measures 7.5″ l x 4.5″ h x 1″ d. The focal point of the design is the brass buckle, which is the perfect accent to the leather.

The strap, which has a 6-inch drop, is adjustable, allowing you to carry the bag more like a traditional purse or as a wristlet.

When you don’t need to carry a lot of necessities, this would be a great grab-and-run bag, perfect for running errands on the weekends and for $78, it’s a nice break on the budget!

Like most handbag-loving girls, I really love having small bags like wristlets to put inside my larger bags and this Python Print Small Wristlet (7″ l x 4.5″ h x 1.5″ d) by Calvin Klein would be a great one for summer. With its soft pearlescent glow, the Pearl color on this embossed-leather bag reminds me of the soft shimmer that some seashells can have. It’s also available in Patina and River Rock, if you prefer a slightly different look.

Available for $95, it features interior zip, slip and credit card pockets along with a mirror inside—you’ve got to love a bag that comes with a mirror! I’m also really liking the asymmetrical feel of the frame lock closure.

Express got a recent shipment of items for Spring, among them were some interesting bags. The brand doesn’t have an online store, so when I find great items, I like to snap some camera photos and inform you all!

So summer-ready are the lukewarm-toned wooden beaded wristlets and beaded sack hobos. While showin’ some toesies and baring arms, it’s also fun to celebrate the sultry and carefree time with special accessories just for the momentous period; like espadrilles in shoes and for bags: raffia, straw, wood, bamboo and … and … the hot new trend: tortoise shell.

But Summer is also fleeting, so it’s great to participate in its trends for bags at stores like Express, with lower prices. Except with no online shop and an early stock primed to sell out, are we in the mood enough to brave these winter winds and snow flurries, in time to buy?

“I’m dreaming tonight about a handbag I want …” Christmas is the season for dreaming and wishing, and that’s exactly what most girls who want this handbag will have to be content with. Dreamin’ and wishin’ about it because the Chloé Beaded Small Bracelet Bag, the third bag to be spotlighted in the “12 Handbags of Christmas,” is priced at $1140! I suppose the elaborate beading and gold hardware, along with the craftsmanship and design, has a large part in that price tag, but still, $1140 is a lot of money.

Regardless of price, I chose this handbag (7.5″ x 9″ x 3″) to highlight because it’s fun and is a unique design. Made from garnet red satin, it was inspired by one of designer Phoebe Philo’s bracelets. I love when designers combine jewelry elements into their purses. Plus, the red round beads remind me of Christmas ornaments. Can’t you just see them on the tree?!

Now, after spotlighting this high-priced item, I feel the need to choose more affordable handbags next week. So, I’m off to window shop …

The second handbag to be highlighted in my “12 Handbags of Christmas” (refer to the first post for more info.) is the Michael Kors Malibu Mini Demi Bag. I love this bag because it’s PERFECT for the holidays! The shape, the fabric, the colors, the clasp, the strap—you get the picture. Size-wise (4.5″ x 6.5″ x 1.5″), it will fit the bare necessities for holiday events—cash and lip gloss. You’re not going to be lugging around a large bag at a party trying to carry everything you would on an average day, so the size is great!

The chain strap is also adjustable, which means you don’t have to suffer with a strap that’s too long all night, which can get very annoying. Made from leather fabric, it’s availabe in three holiday colors (bronze, metallic silver and metallic pink). I would go with the bronze—I think it looks classy. The finishing touch is an adorable clasp closure that is like a little coin purse. Can’t you just see this with a great full skirt?! Oh, I almost forgot—it sells for $98. Much less than the first bag I picked to be highlighted.
