Here is a peak at one item from Fendi’s Spring 2007 bag collection. I hope this is some sort of case, but it could be a little clutch bag. It’s certainly different with that large zipper pull. I just really think this would make a cute beauty or camera case over a bag, though.

Following our Holiday Gift Week series, I still have at least one gift to write about.

One source of an assortment of fashionable gifts for women is Dooney & Bourke, and their various accessories. Dooney & Bourke wristlets are cute for girls, especially the more colorful ones. For adults, they have nice - more sophisticated - accessories and bags, too. Like Coach, Dooney is a more affordable luxury brand.

Their Flap Wristlets, like this Doodle Wristlet shown, cost $45. That’s a great price considering some other pricetags these days. And teenagers often only need a wristlet as an entire bag, so depending on what you pick for whom, a D&B gift is a great one.

Adorable, fun, and to me - so appropriate is the Louis Vuitton Multicolore iPod Suffle Cover with all the basic features a young LV/music fan needs - at only $140. Of course, this holds last year’s generation of Shuffle, not the new ultra, ultra mini one.

But if she’s got that shuffle, you may find other cases to be not much cheaper - so why not?! I’d love it … if only I liked the limited capabilities of this precise mp3 model. Humph.

Who ever heard of a jewelry roll? Well luxe brand, Banana Republic, has made just that—this “Jewelry Roll” is for storing jewelry. The clutch-like piece of fabric unwraps to reveal three wide pockets lined in silk for storage. With its red velvet exterior and beautiful satin bow, I say this item could even be used as a handbag for holiday events!

Measuring 7 ½” x 4″ and at only $38, that’s not a bad choice.

Like the Purseket or the Purse Brite? Well, you might love Chameleon Inserts more! It has more pockets, fits more things, comes in three sizes and just all around offers more.

The small fits medium-small bags, so there sadly is no option for very small bags, but there are other benefits that you’ll love. There is a bottom, so one can just lift it up to more easily switch bags! Plus the large size comes in an optional “sturdier” selection, which is great for large, saggier bags to keep their shape!

Pockets include: cell phone, pen/lip stick, card slots, change and more, plus its own cosmetic case.

There are ten colors and they’re made in the USA, too.

eLUXURY now has Louis Vuitton’s new Damier Azur line in stock, though I believe more bags are to come (or perhaps have all quickly-quickly sold out?).

Damier Azur is the Damier checkerboard coated canvas pattern, but in créme and pale blue. The bags in stock are two luggage duffles and one organizer wallet (Zippy Organizer, shown)—my favorite of the collection, the French Purse, sold out within days. What a shocker shame!

As usual, don’t trust eBay for these new LVs.

Also new for Louis Vuitton is the third price rise this year. Rises depended on former price points and newness factor of bags, and was about $20 for most styles. The Alma, for one example, went from around $880 I believe, to an even $900. Whoa!

Luella is bigger than ever, well her accessories are literally larger than any of last season’s (I think). This red leather bag is huge, plus the hideous banana charm is bigger here (and hypnotizing).

Have you seen the girth of a bag so wide? I think a petite and slight woman could tip over carrying that! I think a small German Shepherd could fit!

I wish we could see the front of the bags in these pictures; Luella’s all in those front straps to me.

It’s IT Bag Monday (late afternoon) … with a wallet!

If you want a hot wallet, you’ve found it. If you want a teeny tiny bit of a Chloé Paddington, for a lower yet not highly reasonable price, well I think you’ve got it.

I do like it, don’t get me wrong! I like the padlock, of course—and I really, really like the way the key is attached: on the zipper pull.

You know blatantly in this case that the lock is not a utilitarian device, and I like that … worrying if I have to unlock my purse to get inside is too much for me.

But wait, in the case of a wallet, it might be nice. One could keep the key elsewhere and maybe be a little bit safer from card & identity theft?

Anyway, it is a nice look, at least. Tongue in oh, so chic? Oh, so chic.

This is an older (two weeks ago) sighting, but a good bag is always a good bag. And the one “brand” that is as timeless as can be is Chanel. Their bags are feminine classy, always classic, and thus always today. Even vintage looks current.
