Continuing with their style of a very geometric logo print, is the design on Fendi’s Crossword Clutch. In a word: “smart”. With cleverly laid out “tiles” or strips of silver letters on white leather, which spell Fendi in a perfect rectangular “U”, this bag has name appeal and is attractive “to bag”. Complete with a silver metallic handle with “Fs”on each side, appearing similar to their Zucca logo, the clutch is sized 12″ across x 6″ down. The newest B. Fendi bag is a hobo with one buckle, sort of simple, but bold and nice. The B. Fendi Zucca Hobo comes with large-logo, Zucca, printed canvas, antiqued brass logo hardware, leather shoulder strap with chain links, interior slip pocket and cell phone pocket. B. Fendis! B. Fendis! These bags were so prevalent in stores and on people’s wish lists this year. One of the bags of 2006, for sure. The style debuted in the year, and one of the very first to come out, and the first to make most magazines, was the B. Fendi Lace & Embroidery Shoulder Bag. It’s still being sold now - plus it’s on sale! $3,633 from $5,190! Sure, the bag is a busy B., and there might be others you prefer (I actually do) but one has to admit, this bag buzzes luxury.

This could easily pass for a high spot on our top 5 party bags list, as well. This bag is gorge!

Here is a peak at one item from Fendi’s Spring 2007 bag collection. I hope this is some sort of case, but it could be a little clutch bag. It’s certainly different with that large zipper pull. I just really think this would make a cute beauty or camera case over a bag, though.

Nothing new and interesting has been coming from Fendi lately, but one bag of note is the Canvas Palazzo Print Tote, featuring a signature-included asymmetrical photo print and chain-printed straps on a roomy—nay, a huge 20″ x 15″—tote shape, for only $650. And the design actually means something; “Palazzo print pays homage to the neo-classical architecture of Fendi’s Palazzo flagship store.”

Still, I’m not convinced. What do you think?

It’s IT Bag Monday!

Yay, my favorite Fendi B.: the shoulder bag. The B. Fendi Patent Trim Shoulder Bag is made of supple grained black (”burnt”) leather. This look and feel of luxury doesn’t come so cheap at $1,210. Now that the B. Shoulder Bag is a franchise of its own, you know it’s an IT investment.

The Zucca Shoulder Bag still looks best to me, at $920. Oh, please though, do have a sale. What do you think, could it happen? Should I check eBay and consult their expert message board members? Well, I shall if the bag disappears sans sale. Tsk, I’m telling you, don’t buy the bag, let it go to sale!!

This is an older (two weeks ago) sighting, but a good bag is always a good bag. And the one “brand” that is as timeless as can be is Chanel. Their bags are feminine classy, always classic, and thus always today. Even vintage looks current.

Wow, it’s also Fendi day, today!

I have Wisteria Hysteria, for certain. I love the flowers appliquéd to this line of Fendi Spys. And I know many are desperate for these IT bags.

This version is made of plush velvet, and I love the extra contrast stitching on one of the flowers.

The velvet lovely and luxe, but I still prefer the tan leather one from a few months back.
