I just realized - despite aspirations toward the contrary - that I haven’t actually posted about a single laptop bag! Well, that simply must change!

It’s so hard to find a fashionable laptop tote, and even the “feminine” ones simply have a splash of pink and that’s all. Well, this Case Logic - “Fashion Tote” / Laptop Case may not be haute couture, but it’s pretty snazzy and trendy for a laptop case!

Featuring neat side decos and a horizontal belt, this brown or black tote is sized at 18″ x 13″. Excuse me while I say, “yowzas!” That’s a bit large for my frame and therefore gives more space than needed for any laptop I’d buy (I am currently in the market). But the style, itself, looks like a fashion handbag, and not just a *machine transportation case*. That is always much-appreciated.

The possible catch: It’s made of a synthetic: microfiber, but it should be sturdy enough (boy, though, would I overuse it).

The best parts: check out the inside pockets, including one for an umbrella!

This bag caught my eye in the store. Talbot’s Leather-Trimmed Hobo Bag. It is so lovely. It converts from a hobo into a tote with snaps on the side. It would make the cutest beach bag that would double as a boutique-strolling purse.

I’m so tempted to sale stalk this bag (now at a not-bad $78), but even at a low price: it’s mostly white. White on a beach bag, especially? (And I have a regular-old beach bag, so it doesn’t necessarily have to do the double duty.)

And you know I just bought a new expensive bag! I promised myself: no new purses.

I’m rarely a fan of tall purses, so while I don’t care for the height of this bag (14″h), I do love the large O-ring connected to the shoulder strap. The O-ring is one of the focal points of the new Jamin line by Elliott Lucca, which was partially influenced by the ever-popular and classic bangle bracelet—an accessory which never truly goes out of style.

The Jamin line also includes a smaller (8.25″ l x 5.5″ h) top-zip purse with the same oversize O-rings and whipstitched details. The larger bag sells for $168, while the small purse will set you back only $98!

Even though summer is featured on Free People’s web site, the color of this Ruched Sack Bag reminds me of autumn, which is a season I’m not ready to enter yet, considering it’s still cool in the midwest. Regardless, I do think the floral lining is perfect for May flowers! But, what I really like about this canvas hobo is its slouchy shape, which gives the bag a very casual, relaxed feel and the distressed leather handles only add to that feel. Plus, at only $58, it’s difficult to pass up!
