Just in case you didn’t notice. We moved a darn long time ago. To Bag Dream.

First we just did a simple (in the right way) redirect, but because of a particular (to us) problem, that messed up our page rank (it shouldn’t for 99% of people, and had to do with an error a long ways back). Our PR is coming back though! But to fix the Google indexing thing, we needed to take down the redirection. Since at first you were immediately sent to Bag Dream, I didn’t publish a post about us moving (really, don’t: do the correct redirect. Research it online), but now I realize, well. We don’t have all the old links, and I’ve been finding it difficult getting in contact with webmasters to update.

So hopefully this post will help!

Fergie is going to design handbags, but for another company, Kipling, and only for two seasons.

President and CEO of VF Sportswear, Denise Seegal, was attracted to Fergie by her mass appeal and fashionista style on the red carpet. This will be the first celebrity-designed collection of many for Kipling, which actually seems like a nice little bag brand, though relatively unknown.

Stacy Ferguson (Fergie) said,

As with every project that I’m involved with, I plan to put all of my heart and creativity into this one, and I’m thrilled to work with such an amazing brand. I look forward to putting my personal touch on each and every design in my signature Kipling collections.

Fergie will not only be hands on with the designs, but she will do a lot to market the bags, including posing for ad campaigns and making personal appearances - all for the brand.

There will be two collections, one for Fall 2007 and the second for Spring 2008. Bags will hit stores (unsure which) September 1st 2007.

Now let’s hope Fergie can get past her devotion to motorcycle bags, as pictured above (a Balenciaga).

What a nice way to come back to blogging - go over what I’ve missed while holed up in bed! Here is my fave from the bag blogs over the past week.

$100,000 Diamond Alligator Clutch
With genuine 18 carat white gold hardware, 1500 white and black genuine diamonds and metallic alligator skin - this clutch is extreme. And only 1 is made every year. I’ve got to thank Bag Snob Kelly, because during the truly awful Friday afternoon I had, this cheered me up a bit.

ASOS added 10 actual designer bags to their store inventory, and we think that’s noteworthy. Shop via The Bag Lady.

The Valentino bags are coming! They’re so posh and feminine, all the bloggers love them! The Sweetheart bag has Betty-esque chain straps, but with a softer body and the Rosette Hobo has flowers made out of leather! Via Purseuing and the Purse Page, respectively, click on purse titles.

I’m back from my vaca, then illness. The forum has been having problems, but some time this week it will be back up - at a new location and in a different format, but the content and member data will remain. It will be even better, too!

And this is all because of Spam. Evil spam! Well I’ll see you in a little bit for another full week of posting!

It’s a summery tote with gold metallic fabric. It’s quite trendy, I suppose, but that won’t cut it. Where are the Louboutin signature elements? They should think of some - I can:

They have platform shoes, espadrilles, and wedges right? So the bags could be raffia, have wooden elements, or even have pockets on the bottom a la the Zippy by Chloé. That compartment could be a different colour - a tan, perhaps in raffia?

Then of course all Louboutin shoes have the red sole - I think bags could be subtler; red fabric lining. That is a definite must and I will lose all hope if all bags don’t have that already. (The store description doesn’t say.)

The details it does have are a chain drawstring strap, nice, gotta hand them that - but then a dangling key charm? Everyone does that!

Oh sigh, why am I such a better designer than the professionals? Hmm? I need this job and this job needs moi!

The plus side, this seemingly (Neimans doesn’t give size) roomy bag costs only $950.

 Here’s Jessica Simpson with the newest upcoming trend, the day clutch. As seen on fashion blogs such as Fab Sugar. Clutches often in brighter colours or bold prints, or anything suitable for day and not evening, but most importantly—these clutches are large.

And that’s what I love about them, however I can’t find any of the big sizes being sold online yet. If you scout a nice, big day clutch, send it in!

I’ve only put in a few keywords, with none of the less “safe” designers such as Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Marc Jacobs or Tiffany. Still, you must verify authenticity at a message board like the one we’ve started ourselves - Know Authentic.

Basically mostly you know how to use eBay, but do you think it is safe for us to let a system display auctions based by keywords alone? I have no way of restricting any auctions, like for instance based on price.
