Kate Spade is like the independent designer who made a name for herself. Some of her styles are so boutique-homemade-like. This bag, the Topsy, I really like. It has a lovely designed-shape in soft sateen natural-toned cotton with an earthy coral-branch design and matching colored leather trim. The roomy summer tote is on sale at Nordstrom, down from nearly $300 to under $147. I also noticed a pink bag going on eBay, as an authentic, it’s a steal.

This is a real treat, a rare gem and find. How special is this vintage swimsuit-shaped beach bag? The picture truly speaks for itself (view larger in eBay listing). Unless its authentic-styling makes you wonder, yes, that is a bag. The straps are … straps! Beyond cute.

I’ve decided I need a really great, designer-ish tote bag for the beach. I feel this way, even though I am not a big beach goer, and I need to lose some weight before I can really feel confident about going. I did find the cutest bag however, by Fiorelli!
