Be Selective While Choosing Your Bags

November 8, 2005 by Designer Ella

COACH Suede Satchel Flint Designerella CocoA designer handbag collection can really consume a closet and add up to an incredible annual dollar sum. Even I have realized that it’s something to avoid. One tip to possibly consider, if you’re truly a fanatic, is don’t buy an expensive bag unless you love it so much, you give it a name.

I’ve realized this with the addition of Coco! … and the wish to replace some older bags. And now I want a new Signature bag … and … ohh!

I’m now in search of a good borrowing service, instead of all this.

Is the name thing good advice, or am I just a little bit ill? Already, I think the system is faulty. To the core, patience, knowledge and a careful approach are musts. Less is so truly more.

And yet *new* is always shinier. I’m on the case! (To be continued …)

The borrowing service opens up a whole new world of possibilities! Of course, if I tried it, I’d have to try not to get too attached to the handbags I was borrowing, which would be horribly difficult.
By the way, I love Coco!

I can be in love with a bag, sure. But my first designer bag was a Classic Signature COACH. Come Autumn, I wasn’t into it any longer. That thing was my baby!

Now with all the Fall bags, the only one I wouldn’t want to exchange for another is my Houndstooth Wristlet. And I would like an additional wristlet that’s a little more plain. ;-)

Thanks, Coco’s great. I’m just nervous about her suede. She had the perfect Autumn colors, but time’s rolling on. I got over Signature, but now I’m back into Signature (partly because I see it so often, it smacks me in the head). Mostly it’s because of the quality of the new items. It also because with Jacquard and some leather trim, I might not have to worry about damage or dirtying as much.

Get this–I got pen on the Jacquard of that original purse, and it just wore off, I swear. It’s gone! Great bags!
