Ananas Furoshiki Handbag

Ananas Furoshiki - Pewter Bronze GoldOkay, I’ll admit it—originally, I had no idea what the word “furoshiki” meant, but now I do. Furoshiki is the name of a traditional Japanese cloth and the Furoshiki bag by Ananas is named that because the shape of the bag was inspired by the shape items take when being wrapped in furoshiki. There, that’s your lesson for the day!

Ananas Leather HandbagThis bag happens to be the best-selling bag in the Ananas Collection and I can see why. It’s available in a multitude of colors, has coconut shell rings, iridescent taffeta lining (I wish I could see a picture of that—it sounds gorgeous!), a magnetic closure and two interior pockets. There’s also a front slit pocket that is designed in a way that it’s secretive and not noticeable to everyone—very neat idea! It measures 16.5″ l x 18.5″ h and you can have it for $260.
